Chupacabra Monday!

I have chupacabra on my brain today! Literally, I woke up and thought to myself, "I need to seem me some chupacabra today!" So, in honor of all the photos I found and all the really paranoid people in the world here is a little bit about the chupacabra.

According to Wikipedia (I know not the greatest source but it works), "The Chupacabra or Chupacabras (pronunciation: /tʃupa'kabɾa/, from the Spanish words chupar, meaning "to suck", and cabra, meaning "goat"; literally "goat sucker"), also called El Chupacabras in Spanish, is a legendary cryptid rumored to inhabit parts of the Americas. It is associated more recently with sightings of an allegedly unknown animal in Puerto Rico (where these sightings were first reported), Mexico, and the United States, especially in the latter's Latin American communities.[1] The name comes from the animal's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats. Physical descriptions of the creature vary."
Essentially, the chupacabra is believed to be a contemporary legend by people with degrees in biology. Though it's not good to knock a legend - they add a little flavor for life, and wouldn't it be fun to send your cousin Ray out to bag a chupacabra instead of a snipe?

Anyways, you can find all kinds of chupacabra related art on the Internet. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the legend and what people do with it. You can also look at these sites for more info.
