This is what I'm working on right now in my new series "The Land is My Mistress". It's called "The Road to California" because that is the quilting pattern that it utilizes. It's sewn areal photographs in red thread. I'm going to mount it in a black frame with a red background. I'm really excited about this new series and I'm working hard to get some new pieces busted out.
